Services

  • I offer a free 30-minute Zoom consultation to anyone interested in starting therapy. This initial meeting is a chance for us to connect, discuss what’s bringing you to therapy, and explore how I can support you. It’s also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about my approach. If you're ready to take the first step, please reach out through my contact page.

  • Therapy sessions are 50 minutes long and cost $175. I accept Aetna, Cigna, Optum, Oscar Health, United Healthcare, and Quest insurance plans. For clients using out-of-network benefits, you might be able to get reimbursed! Check your out-of-network insurance benefits with Mentaya, linked below. A sliding scale is available for those with financial need—please contact me to discuss eligibility and apply.

  • Life coaching sessions are 50 minutes and cost $175. This service is ideal for individuals seeking support and guidance through life transitions such as career changes, academic challenges, relocation, marriage, starting a family, or navigating grief. Please note that life coaching is available to clients outside of Washington State, as it is not considered clinical therapy.

  • I offer workshops focused on somatics and expressive arts, designed to support self-exploration and emotional healing. These workshops are held via Zoom and are open to all. I request a minimum donation of $25, or pay what you can contribute. For dates, times, and additional details, please contact me directly.

I am in-network with Aetna, Cigna, Optum, Oscar Health, United Healthcare, and Quest Insurance. If you have one of these plans, your sessions may be covered in full or in part depending on your benefits.

If I am not in-network with your insurance, you may still be able to use out-of-network benefits. You can check your coverage and estimate your reimbursement below using Mentaya, a secure tool that helps clarify your benefits before getting started.

Therapeutic Models

I help clients find relief from anxiety and depression rooted in trauma by tailoring therapy to their unique needs. My approach supports individuals in processing past experiences so they no longer dominate the present. Together, we develop tools to manage unhelpful thought patterns and foster self-soothing, empowering clients to not just cope—but thrive.

Approaches include:
Somatic Psychotherapy, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Expressive Arts Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Practices, Trauma-Informed and Person-Centered Care, Body-Centered and Nervous System–Informed Work, Grief-Informed Therapy, LGBTQIA+-Affirming and Culturally Responsive Therapy.

Somatic and Expressive Arts-informed therapy

Somatic and expressive arts–informed therapy centers the body as a source of wisdom and healing. Through gentle movement, breath, sensation, and creative expression, therapy supports awareness, emotional processing, and release without relying solely on words. This approach invites curiosity, self-expression, and embodiment, allowing healing to unfold in ways that feel natural, spacious, and accessible.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured form of psychotherapy developed to treat PTSD and other trauma-related conditions. It uses bilateral stimulation—such as guided eye movements—to help the brain reprocess distressing memories, reducing their emotional intensity and promoting healing.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a widely used, evidence-based approach that helps individuals identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. While commonly used to treat anxiety and depression, CBT is also effective for a range of mental and physical health concerns, empowering clients with practical tools to manage challenges more effectively.

LGBTQIA+-affirming therapy

LGBTQIA+-affirming therapy is grounded in respect, safety, and understanding. Your identity is honored—not questioned—and therapy offers a supportive space to explore your experiences openly. Rather than treating identity as the problem, the work focuses on healing the effects of stress, trauma, and marginalization so you can feel more at ease being yourself.

Grief-informed therapy

Grief-informed therapy honors loss in all its forms—death, change, identity, relationships, and the life you thought you would have. Therapy offers space to move at your own pace, tend to what hurts, and integrate grief without pressure to “move on.” The focus is on support, meaning-making, and restoring connection to yourself.

Person-centered and trauma-informed therapy

Person-centered, trauma-informed therapy is rooted in safety, collaboration, and respect for your lived experience. Therapy moves at your pace, honoring how past experiences have shaped your nervous system, relationships, and sense of self. Rather than asking “what’s wrong with you,” this approach centers understanding, choice, and empowerment—creating space for healing that feels steady, supportive, and deeply human.
